TONE OF VOICE
When you interact with people, we receive a lot of
non-verbal signals and 38 percent of them are related to the tone of voice and
this affects the quality of the conversation greatly. A calm and gentle tone of
voice will make you start talking relaxed and communication will be
comfortable. A clear and choppy voice gives others the impression that you are
focused on the conversation, while a monotonous and unclear voice gives the
impression that you are bored with the conversation. Tone also includes the
volume you use, the type of emotion you convey to others while communicating
with them, and the focus on the words you choose to say.
There are some basic tips for using your voice in
communication. Firstly, your voice should be loud and audible if you are in the
middle of a group of people so that everyone can hear and notice it. Secondly,
your voice should be clear and slow so that the words are clear and

difficult times, so it calms the situation and gives a sense of calm and

A strong tone of
voice explains enthusiasm and approval, but a weak tone of voice explains
hesitation, disapproval, and lack of interest. Also, the tone of the voice may
lead to a change in the meaning of the sentence you say, for example the
sentence (I am fine). If your tone of voice is cold, this indicates that you
are actually not fine, but if you say the same sentence in a bright and
cheerful tone of voice, this means that you are actually fine.
